Developing on NVIDIA® Jetson™ for AI on the Edge

In the last “Behind the Scenes” blog post I was confident that the website was finally up and running. Stronger and faster than ever.

Confidence is not the same as truth. Turns out, there were still several tasks to perform. I believe that I have finally cornered all the change critters, and cleaned them up at this point. One of the missing parts of the website that go added? The new ‘About Jim‘ web page. It’s even less interesting than it sounds!

Also in the previous BTS blog post, which turns out to now be unbelievably optimistic, I announced that a new video was going out. Unfortunately I lost my voice earlier this week, which make voice overs challenging. Expect the video this week. Along with the finished Newsletter.

I added another book to the JetsonHacks bookshelf. “The Diamond Age: Or, a Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer” by Neal Stephenson is a book I have thought about for over 25 years. The book was first published in 1995. I’m not really that big into social commentary and such, but ideas about technology? Yes Please. Stephenson describes some very interesting ideas, which feel much closer to reality than when the story was first written.

It finally feels like we’re getting closer to a more consistent content posting schedule.
